Sportswoman Apurvi Chandela of Jaipur continues to win more laurels for the country.
At the ongoing International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) ‘World Cup Finals’ at Munich in Germany, Apurvi bagged the silver for 10m Air Rifle Women Finals today.
She scored 206.3 points against Ahmadi Elaheh of Iran, who scored 207.6 to win the gold. The bronze was won by Arsovic Andrea of Serbia.
This competition was among the medal winners of all the four World Cups played in a year. In all there were nine participants. She had qualified for this ‘World Cup Finals’ by scoring 416.4 points.
Apurvi has already qualified for the Rio Olympics scheduled to be held in 2016.
