Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is one of the most tech-savvy politicians and she has joined the race among the chief ministers to have a app of her own.
The first Chief minister to get a app for himself was former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. His mobile app has 155 cartoons of him and was launched last year. The title of the creation is ‘Athivekem Bahudoorem’ (fast and forward), which was also the theme line of Chandy’s government. The cartoons by freelancer cartoonist Harikumar depicted Chandy as the central character. All the cartoons have a thematic background. It included the development program undertaken by Chandy and the issues he had to encounter such as scams and so on.
On similar lines in Rajasthan, Raje has opted for her own app to publicise her work and various schemes
Launched recently, the official app, Vasundhara Raje mobile app, does not have her cartoons or her scams but will help people to keep updated with the latest on the state. The app urges people to contribute towards developing a better and a more prosperous Rajasthan.
But the USP of the app is that it provides aam aadmi with a unique opportunity to interact with her directly, share ideas and suggestions with her. It also gives you more information about her life and achievements.
The app gives an insight into the various schemes and policies launched in the state. It underlines the government policies, the governance by administrative officials and also presents the real facts and figures in the form of infographics.
Besides Raje’s speeches, interviews, thoughts, addresses and answers to your queries can be done through this app.
One would also be able to check the media coverage, press releases and receive latest news and information about Raje government.
People are being encouraged to ask question and contribute to this app and earn points. You can even donate towards Jal Swavalamban Abhiyan through his app.
The app is an initiative of Raje towards the Digital Rajasthan concept.
