Udaisagar Lake a protected area now
Udaisagar lake in Udaipur has been declared as a protected area and as such hotels and other constructions around the area has become unlawful from now. Various activities have been prohibited within the geographical boundaries of Udaisagar.
The directorate has issued two notifications regarding demarcation of the periphery of the lake and the declaration of it as a protected area.

Tension in Fatehsagar
Areas around Fatehsagar and Udaipur remain tense after Internet services were suspended after an objectionable post on Facebook by a resident of Fatehsagar.
Saddam Khan Pathan had allegedly written a FB post which read Pakistan Zindabad air Zindabad rahega, which hurt the religious sentiments of a large section of people.
Some leaders of Hindu organisations demanded strong action against the accused. As a precautionary measure, police suspended the Internet services in the region, to not let the situation aggravate further. The police also traced the IP address
Later the ban was lifted on Wednesday.
A case under relevant sections has also been registered agains the accused and some other boys .
