Jaipur, Nov 8: To bring about unity amongst youths and inculcate the spirit of nationalism, thousands of people , including school and college students, today sang Vande Mataram at Jaipur’s SMS Stadium today.
Rajasthan Youth Board hosted the event along with grand yoga and the singing of Vande Mataram at the stadium. The event was organised in association with RSS-backed Hindu Spiritual and Service Foundation.
500 artists using 125 different musical instruments performed under the guidance of veteran music composer Anandji of Kalyanji-Anandji fame. They played patriotic tunes and singer Tushar Bhatia sang the national song. Deaf and mute students also took part in the event..
The two-hour event commenced with a yoga session and was followed by Vande Mataram recital. The artistes gave a presentation of different symphonies of Vande Mataram.
The organizers roped in NSS, NCC, scouts and guides and RSS volunteers for crowd control.
Today, the BJP is observing the day as Anti-Black Money Day and is organising panel discussions, rallies also distribute pamphlets to create awareness about the positive effects of demonetization in fighting the menace of black money. BJP leaders, including union ministers, MPs, state ministers, MLAs, party office-bearers and workers are participating in the event. The campaign will conclude on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Congress has announced that it will observe November 8 as ‘black day.’ Rajasthan Congress is holding demonstrations at all the district headquarters.
