Trainee RAS officers under swine flu grip


Jaipur, Dec 22: Trainee Rajasthan Administrative Services officers, who would probably have to man an outbreak of an epidemic in their careers,are now down with swine flu, during their training period itself.
Swine flu has created a scare in the Officers Training Centre of HCM RIPA after seven trainee RAS officers tested positive for the disease in the past six days.
The hostels were vacated after four more trained officers contracted the disease yesterday.

The first officer was diagnosed with swine flu on Dec 14.

Health department officials have administered tami flu tablets to the infected ones and also those who are in touch with them.

These were 281 officers from the 2013 batch, who were undergoing training before being placed in different departments across the state.
Their valedictory function on Dec 22 stands postponed for now.
