Jaipur, Jan 5: The controversy over Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Padmavati continues to aggrieve the Rajput Karni Sena, who have huge reservations over the film.
Today, in a presser at the Rajput Sabha Bhawan, Lokendra Singh Kalvi, one of Rajput leaders, said they still want a complete ban on the film and would go all out to stop the film from being released. They have urged all to gather at Chittorgarh on Jan 27 and call for complete ban on the film.
The film Padmavati recently cleared the Censor Board certification after it was renamed as Padmavat, instead of Padmavat, actually saying the film is based on a poem and not on historical facts along with some changes.
Kalvi said this time it would be all out fight to keep the honour of their Queen Padmavati and the Rajput community intact.
