AAP loses faith in Vishwas for Rajasthan

Jaipur, April 12 : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has axed one of the founder members of the party, Kumar Vishwas from the role of Rajasthan in-charge as it begins preparations for the Assembly elections slated later this year.

AAP spokesperson Ashutosh announced that the party would be contesting the Rajasthan elections and that the party’s national treasurer, Deepak Bajpai, would be replacing Vishwas as Rajasthan in-charge. These decisions, Ashutosh, said had been taken at a meeting of the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) earlier this week.

Vishwas’s relationship with the party leadership had been on the edge in the past year, as he publicly questioned several decisions taken by convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
