Reservation will never go: Raje

Jaipur, April 14. Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje today affirmed reservation would never be abolished. Speaking at the state level Dr. BR Ambedkar birth anniversary celebration function at the state capital on Saturday, she said that some people were trying to spread misinformation about caste reservation but reservation will never go.

Reiterating govt.’s pledge towards protection of the rights of scheduled caste and scheduled tribes, she said some people were trying to create confusion over the issue but the govt. won’t let reservation discontinue.

State celebrates Dr. BR Ambedkar’s Birth Anniversary

Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s 127th birth anniversary was celebrated all over the state.

A state level function was organized at Jaipur’s Birla auditorium to mark the event and pay tributes to the chief architect of Indian constitution. Rajasthan governor Kalyan Singh was also present on the occasion.

The governor  also laid the foundation of BR Ambedkar Foundation’s hostel at Mundlaa, near Jaipur. The Chief Minister  inaugurate the digital library and newly constructed Ambdekar Bhawan there.

An exhibition was also put up highlighting the life and achievements of Dr. Ambedkar.
