Jaipur, April 17. Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje unveiled the statue of former vice president Bhairon Singh Shekhawat and late Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindhia at Nimbaheda town of Chittorgarh district.
She also laid the foundation stone of Vijayaraje park at Monday evening. The chief minister also interacted with the local population at a Jansamvad programme prior to unveiling the statues. She was given a warm welcome on arrival at the town.
She is currently on a four day visit to Chittorgarh to review the progress of ongoing projects and programmes. The Chittorgarh MP C.P.Joshi, urban development minister Shri Chand Kriplani, Narpat Singh Rajvi were also present at the function.
Interacting with the people of Nimbaheda assembly constituency, at a Jansamvaad programme organized at the JK Institute of Technology in Nimbaheda town, CM announced to start a football academy there. She said her government was committed to provide best educational and sports facilities in the state.
She also distributed laptops to meritorious girl students for their outstanding performance in the examination.
