Jaipur, April 18. An exhibition on Moraccan Calligraphy has been organized in Jaipur by the National Archives of India in association with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Indian Council for Culture Relation.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism, Dr. Subodh Agarwal at the Institute of National Archives of India in Jhalana Dungari institutional area on Tuesday.
He said digitizing archives had two benefits. It is easy to maintain and at the same time can be readily available to the public. Each exhibit by both the Moroccan artists, Sadik Haddari and Mohamed Qarmad was very artistic and meaningful. he added.
A brochure on the exhibition was also released on the occasion. This exhibition is being held in Jaipur for the first time. It was earlier held in Delhi and Bhopal.
The exhibition will continue till April 24. This event has been organized to raise awareness of these records and increase interest of the public.
