Jaipur, May 1: Rajasthan High Court has directed the Additional Commissioner of police- traffic, Jodhpur police to cancel driver’s license of those found using their mobile phones while driving.
The Bench comprising Justice Gopal Krishan Vyas and Justice Ramchandra Singh Jhala issued the direction after it was informed by Additional Advocate General Rajesh Panwar that several drivers were using mobile phones while driving. This, the Court concluded, was leading to several accidents. It then directed the photographs and other credentials of such vehicles drivers to be forwarded to the concerned R.T.O. for cancellation of their licence
